SAVE THE WORLD/HOME FOR DINNER

For 30 years I've been trying to help people, usually hard working, high performers achieve something called Sustainable Abundance. Sustainable Abundance is at the core of deep life satisfaction. I challenge you to get energetically engaged in creating value where you work, at home and in your personal lives.

When I worked with Stephen Covey teaching the world The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, I was instrumental in developing a 7 Habits time management system. But by the mid 90's, most people had given up on time management. They traded in their day planners for PDA's and more recently, Blackberries to keep them fully connected to their work lives via a digital leash.

This is true of all of us. From CEO's to front line knowledge workers or sales professionals, we are swamped by an endless flood of communication and a storm of competing priorities that distract our critical thinking and whip up emotions like a tornado going through a trailer park. The result, according to recent productivity tracking, is that we are working harder getting worse results.

So what's the answer? It's not more rigid scheduling of our over-busy lives. We contribute our best when we're achieving a new, healthy rythym of living that integrates work, love, play or career, relationships and lifestyle into a seemless life of daily satisfactions. This doesn't happen on a schedule. It happens because we change how we think, how we feel and what we do in ways that strengthens rather than depletes us. It requires one huge commitment.

You must commit to really enjoying life as you live it.

Are you ready to love, work and play everyday?
